It all started with a call from Robbie at @bybob.co, an amazing producer & video creator, to Drone Pilot Pete: "Hey Pete, how about taking off from the rooftops of the beautiful and iconic Princess Theatre, where the cast of the *TINA: The Tina Turner Musical* Australia national tour is performing?"
"Can this be done?" he asked. Absolutely! Since it's not in a no-fly zone, and we have permission to operate on private property while maintaining a regulated distance from people, we were good to go.
What I didn’t expect was just how stunning and historically rich this landmark truly is. I was lucky enough to be given a tour inside, climbing the old staircases to reach the rooftops. The view from up there was spectacular, and flying out from Tina and the cast was a surreal experience.
