Surfing Santa

Hey Dad, this is coming from your 12-year-old son. "Since you're new to this Fliteboard sport (electric Hydrofoil), why not throw on a Santa outfit and glide on top of the water for the kids on Christmas Eve?" I thought, "Okay, why not?" I called up Aunt Sandy, and after a quick chat, she dropped off the Santa costume. Suddenly, it looked like this crazy idea was actually happening. It was 4 pm on Christmas Eve, and there was no time to waste – "Let's Go!"

I hadn't quite anticipated how challenging it would be. Putting on the suit was fine, but once it got wet, standing up without tumbling off this incredible e-foil became a hilarious struggle. Despite the initial difficulty, once I got going, it turned out to be an incredible experience. As I strolled down the beach, there were lots of young kids excitedly yelling, "There's Santa!" The enthusiasm continued all the way south, with kids and their parents waving – it was a beautiful and heartwarming experience. By the way, my son managed all the drone footage that day
